Many of you may have noticed our website has been a bit under the weather lately. Unfortunately, as technology progresses some really great systems become obsolete. That’s where we were with our old page. So the time has come to say “Good-bye” to our old site — a moment of silence, please — and welcome our new and improved (and functioning!!) new site. Thank you all for your patience as we worked through the challenges of this transition.
Calendar of Events/Schedule
But now that we’re here – I think you’ll all agree, the new site has some fantastic improvements! The new Calendar interface for the class schedule lets you see the whole month schedule at a glance – with the types of classes color-coded. Just click on the date to see the specifics about each class/workshop/event for that day.
- Our normally scheduled classes are in blue – these are the classes that you can use your punch card or monthly unlimited membership.
- Our specialty classes and workshops are in green – these classes have a separate fee and are not included in our monthly unlimited memberships.
- Special events at the studio are in burgundy. These would be activities like Yoga Day, a studio Pot Luck Dinner, or visiting instructors.
Remember, to find the details about any entry on the calendar – just click on that day and the descriptions, instructors, and costs will be shown.
Ayurveda
We now have an Ayurveda page on our site! Many of you know of my enthusiasm for the ancient healing tradition that is a sister science to yoga. I’m looking forward to being able to share more about Ayurveda through our website. Also, check out the Resources page for links to lots of other great ayurveda and yoga resources!
Blog
And the last final feature to tout – this page! I’m really looking forward to using this Blog space to update you on studio activities and events and to provide valuable information on yoga, ayurveda, and meditiation. I envision this space replacing our periodic newsletter – so check in often to see what’s new! If you have specific subjects you would like to see discussed here, please let me know! I want to make this OUR space – a place to discuss, learn, and explore the many wonderful facets of this journey through life and yoga!
Namaste,
Heather Anastos
