This workshop will explore the practice of yoga breath work. Breathing is something we do unconsciously every day, but by bringing conscious awareness to the action of breath, we can create positive influences on body, mind and soul.
We will begin with a meditative process to observe the unconditioned (or unaltered breath), followed by a movement sequence designed to facilitate breath work. We will then practice several different yoga breathing techniques before ending with a meditation and savasana.
This workshop is open to beginners to pranayama, yogic breath practices. No experience is required.
