Feldenkrais is all about finding a more comfortable, powerful organization of your system for the improved function of your most basic activities, like walking, reaching, lifting a child or grandchild, or playing golf or tennis. How we perform these simple activities both embodies and creates our experience of who we are, and how well we feel.
The workshop will involve individual movement, and the lessons will use the nervous system and whole self to increase ease, range of motion, and safety for folding, turning, arching (or if you prefer flexion, rotation, and extension) postures. We will focus on deepening your sense of embodiment with movements which are particularly difficult for some people including pelvic tilt and reaching overhead.
Workshop is recommended for yoga teachers, students of yoga, or anyone wishing to explore this healing movement methodology.
